I got an email from Ibotta this morning with some new  improvements to their app. If you are an Ibotta user, you might have got this email too. If you’re not an Ibotta user, you can read this post to get up to speed on what it does. But in short, you can use it to get paid cash money back for buying groceries!

Ibotta Improvements

There were several things Ibotta improved — many new offers, offer expiration dates, functionality to quickly pick your store, a new offer indicator and paid tweets! The paid tweets part is what really caught my attention. They didn’t go into a lot of detail about it on the app, but the picture shows how it works. Some offers will give you the option to tweet them out to your friends on Twitter. I can’t say for sure how much each tweet will pay, but in the example photo you could get 25 cents for one Twitter share.
