MintVine is a fairly popular rewards site that lots of people are using now. They offer several different ways to earn money like most other rewards sites do. Buy how does this one work? What sets it apart from other similar sites? Is it worth your time? Below, I’m discussing all the details that are important regarding MintVine to help you decide for yourself if this is a worthwhile site.

Who can sign up at MintVine?

You can sign up at as young as 13, but you MUST have parental consent to participate if you are between the ages of 13-17 years old. It looks like you can use MintVine if you are located outside the United States, but bear in mind that MintVine is ran by a US company.

Is this a cash or points site?

MintVine is a points site, but luckily this is one of those where the conversion from points to cash isn’t confusing. With Mintvine, 1000 points is equal to $10.

How many points do you need to redeem?

You only need 1000 points to redeem for anything.

What can you redeem for?

The only option is Paypal. This is good if you prefer cash-paying sites instead of gift-card/merchandise sites.

What are the different ways you can earn points?

You can earn points here by answering surveys, filling out short polls, and filling out offers.

How long does it take to get your redemption?

Your points go into a sort of holding status for about 14 days after you’ve earned them. Then, you can redeem them provided you have the minimum (1000) points. People who actively use MintVine say that once you can redeem, it usually only takes a couple of days to get your Paypal cash.

Does MintVine have a referral program?

Yes, it’s called the “MVP Referral Program.” This allows you to earn 15 percent of the earnings your referred friends accumulate from the surveys they take and offers they complete. You cannot earn from the short polls your friends do. Remember that this does not take away from your friend’s total points — they still get what they’re due. It’s just an extra bonus that MintVine awards to you as thanks for referring them.

What do people say about MintVine?

So far, so good. People are getting paid — that’s the most important thing. MintVine has a user forum so you can easily browse through there once you’re registered and get lots of feedback. Current users are enjoying the fast pay. Most of the complaints I’ve seen online come from people who don’t like the fact that MintVine holds their points for two weeks before allowing them to become available and of course disqualifying from surveys they attempt to take.
