Get Paid to Read Messages With Hits 4 Pay

I am a member of a website called Hits 4 Pay that some of you might have heard of. It’s one of the oldest “paid to read email” sites on the web. They have been around since 2001 and have a good history as far as making payments, etc. They are very legit.

How it Works

I’ve been a member since sometime last year, and it’s honestly pretty easy. After you sign up, you’ll get occasional messages in your email  inbox from Hits 4 Pay, asking you to click the link in the email. Doing that takes you to their site where you actually read the messages. So even though it is technically paid to read email, you are not really getting the messages through your personal email. All your emails go to your inbox on their site.

Pay

The emails are more like little advertisements. You get two cents for each one you read and the amount you have available will vary. However, I usually have no shortage so not having enough (at least for me) has not been a concern. You do have to stay on each message for 60 seconds before you will be credited for reading it.
You get your money once you hit $25, and payment is made with Paypal. Hits 4 Pay will also credit your account with $5 just for signing up.

Hits 4 Pay Referral Program

Hits 4 Pay does have a pretty good referral program. If you refer your friends to sign up, you’ll earn a penny for each ad/email they view. Also, if your friends refer their friends, you can earn a penny from the ads they view, too. So it’s a downline that extends two levels. There is also no limit on the number of referrals you can have.

Who is Eligible?

Everyone! Isn’t that awesome? It does not matter what country you’re in. If you can get paid with Paypal,  you can sign up. Unfortunately I know there are some countries where Paypal isn’t available.

Tax Info

If you want to get paid once you hit the $25 mark and you do live in the U.S., you’ll have to provide a W-9. They give you a link to it on the site. This is required by law in the U.S. Make sure you fill this out! You won’t get your payment if you don’t.

Inactivity Policy

If your account is inactive for 120 days, you risk deletion, which means anything you’ve earned will disappear. So try to remember to log in occasionally if you know it’s been a while since you have.
Update Nov. 16, 2012 – I just received my first payment from this company yesterday (on the 15th), so they DO pay. I have to admit that the daily messages to my email letting me know I have emails to look at on their site are a little annoying, but honestly this is an easy way to make extra money that builds up over time (slowly).
