How Bounty IT Works

Bounty IT is a website a lot like Prizes.org. You won’t get cash here unless you’re lucky enough to have your submission picked, but trying to win is definitely fun. This premise here is structured around the idea of crowdsourcing. A person needs help with something, like feedback on an idea they have or needs someone to pick a name for a new business they’ve come up with (those are just two examples) and posts on Bounty IT what he or she needs. Their post is visible to everyone using the site, and they end up getting lots of submissions to help them with their problem. Out of all the submissions, they pick their favorite, and then that person (possibly you?) gets the “bounty” or money.

How much are the bounties?

These vary drastically. Right now, I see some bounties listed that are anywhere from $10 all the way up into the thousands. Some people just need help with simple things, like feedback on their resume for example, while others are looking for more complex help, website design.

How do you get paid on Bounty IT?

If you’re lucky enough to have one of your submissions selected as a winning submission, your winnings will go into your account there. You can withdraw these winnings to your Paypal account as soon as you have $20. After submitting your withdrawal request, it may take up to two days to get the money transferred to Paypal.

My Thoughts on Bounty IT and Similar Sites

These sites are really so much fun! True, there’s no guarantee your submission will get selected, but it’s so exciting if it does and who can’t use the extra money? For me, it would be occasionally worthwhile to browse around there, looking for bounties posted on things that I know I may be able to help with.
If you want the absolute best chance of getting your submission picked, be sure to put a lot of thought into your feedback submission. The contest creators will most definitely choose the most helpful answer, so it’s probably best not to speed your way through your entry without giving much thought to it.
