One of the best survey panels you can sign up with is 2020 Research. You get to participate in fun, interesting market research studies which usually involve product testing. And the best part? You are compensated very generously for your time. I have seen studies that pay well over $100 and very few that pay less than $20.

Who Can Sign Up

As long as you live in the  United States, you are eligible to join the panel. Most studies ask for participants who are over 18, but I have seen a few that were directed toward teenagers, so I’m thinking you can sign up even if you are not quite 18 years old.

How It Works

Upon registering, you’ll be asked some detailed questions about your household, your shopping habits, and so forth so that 2020 Research can better match you to certain studies. If the panel feels you are a good match for an upcoming study, they will probably send you an email asking you to apply for it. You’ll probably go through some screening questions initially, and then you’ll have to wait to see if you are invited into the actual study. Keep in mind that there are lots of panel members because of how well this particular market research company pays, so the competition for getting in on different things will likely be pretty fierce. There’s a chance that you will not be accepted into many of the studies you apply for.

How Long Do Studies Take?

This also varies. You might be asked to try out a product for several days to a week and give feedback on a daily basis, or you may just have to spend about an hour of your time answering questions as part of an online focus group. 2020 Research is not like other paid survey panels … they pay extremely well and you won’t be sitting there for 15 minutes answering redundant questions for a few points or a couple of bucks like you probably do with other survey panels you might belong to.

Is There a Referral Program?

There is an option on the 2020 Research website to refer a friend, but I don’t believe you are compensated or rewarded in any way for getting people to sign up.

How Can You Sign Up?

You can go ahead and join the panel here. I would also recommend following 2020 Research on Facebook to get a heads up on studies that may be going on that you might not have gotten email invitations for.
