Did you know that you can download some apps to your phone that will let you earn substantial extra money just by doing little odd jobs and answering surveys, etc.? I have reviewed one of these on this blog — Field Agent. But lucky for you there are a few others out there that are very, very similar to Field Agent.
It stands to reason that if you download and use all these apps regularly, you could make more than just a little chump change each month! These apps are much more lucrative than paid surveys if you use them often. I have heard of some people making a couple hundred extra dollars per month thanks to task-based apps.
I do wish there were more of these out there. So far, I know of four that are very promising. Here are some details on each one:

Task-Based Apps That Earn You Money

Field Agent
This app is for iPhone users only. Get paid to go to stores and take pictures of displays, check prices, or simply answer a few questions from the comfort of your own home. Payment is via Paypal once the tasks you’ve completed have been approved.
Gigwalk
This app is for iPhone, but the Android version is in beta mode, so that should be available soon. Basically this one is just like Field Agent. You may be using your smartphone for audits, photography, or other things depending on the needs of Gigwalk’s clients. You must have Paypal to get paid. Tasks range from $3 to as much as $90 dollar, although I’m sure that $3 is closer to the norm.
Easy Shift
Earn money with your smartphone by eating, shopping, and exploring your city. Again, very similar to the two listed above. You do little odd jobs in stores and around your town and get paid. You need Paypal to get your money, and it can take about 48 hours before your payment will process. So far, Easy Shift appears to just be for iPhone users.
Zapiddy
The other three I’m pretty familiar with, but Zapiddy is relatively new to me. I just learned of it recently. Tasks pay between $2 and $10 on average, and you have the option of keeping the money for yourself or donating to charity! Payment is via Paypal, and you can expect to get paid around five business days after completing the job you do. Currently Zapiddy is just for iPhone users.
So there you have it. If you already own an iPhone (or if you own an Android, remember Gigwalk will be available to you soon), you can download these apps and start taking jobs in your area and getting paid! I think with most of these that jobs are on a first-come, first-serve basis, so you’ll need to be fast if you see something pop up that you think you could do.
Do you know of any other good money-earning apps? Please share below!
